I’ve always had a fascination with nature, herbs and the simple remedies that have been passed down through generations. Growing up around gardens, farms and the countryside, I became interested in how different plants were traditionally used to support wellbeing, relaxation and everyday health.
That curiosity eventually led me to create this blend here at Rowchester Farm in the Scottish Borders.
Our herbal hemp tea combines gently crushed hemp seeds with British-grown lavender, mint and rose petals to create a balanced and refreshing infusion that people can enjoy at any time of day. As it’s naturally caffeine free, many of our customers enjoy it in the evening as part of a calmer bedtime routine or simply as a way to unwind after a busy day.
I particularly enjoy a warm mug with a wee drop of honey stirred through.
Alongside the comforting flavours, many of these traditional botanicals have long been appreciated for their natural properties. Mint has been widely used to aid digestion and freshness, lavender is often associated with calm and relaxation, while rose petals and hemp seeds contain naturally occurring antioxidants and plant nutrients.
Everything is hand-blended in small batches in our licensed home kitchen using ingredients grown either on our own land or sourced from trusted British growers. No additives, no artificial flavourings and nothing unnecessary. Just honest herbal tea inspired by the land around us.

The Beginning
A Seed of an Idea
What started as a fascination with herbs, nature and traditional countryside remedies slowly grew into something more. Inspired by the calming rituals of herbal tea and the desire to create a truly British-grown blend, the first ideas were planted here on our family farm in the Scottish Borders.
Growing
First Harvest
In 2018, we harvested our first crop in the boarders of England and Scottland, and began experimenting in the kitchen with different herbal combinations. Using home-grown hemp seed alongside carefully selected botanicals, we tested, sampled and refined each blend by hand, learning more with every batch we created.
Blending
Perfecting the Craft
After countless iterations, the signature blends were born: Lavender & Rose, Peppermint, Fennel and the Original blend. Each recipe was developed to create a smooth, balanced and naturally caffeine-free infusion, carefully hand-blended in small batches using British-grown ingredients wherever possible.
Today
Sharing the Goodness
Over the years, our teas have found their way into shops, farm stores and zero-waste refill spaces across the UK. What began as a small countryside project continues to grow through a new rebrand and fresh vision, helping us share the dream with even more people who appreciate simple, honest herbal tea made with care.
